Procedure: Volumizers / Dark circles

This middle-aged lady was displeased with the appearance of wrinkles and dark circles under her eyes. She mentioned getting muscle relaxers and other prior interventions under her eyes by an aesthetician before that created even more hollowed out appearance and made her looking older. At Advanced Plastic Surgery, she was offered periocular rejuvenation with two kinds of volumizers injected into both tear troughs and her cheeks. The injection was carried out under dental block anesthesia after prior injection of epinephrine solution. Epinephrine solution serves to shrink the vessels around the eyes so they are not accessible to the volumizer. The picture depicts her immediate result. Note disappearance of lines under the eyes and her new youthful appearance.
