Procedure: After Lumpectomy
This 54 year-old very active woman was diagnosed with left breast cancer. She was treated using breast- conserving approach, a lumpectomy, followed by radiation, which resulted in disfigurement and asymmetry of her breasts. She desired to regain symmetry of her breasts without undergoing extensive surgery involving incisions on other parts of her body. She was offered the least invasive option of breast reconstruction with fat grafting from her thighs and abdomen. Consequently, she underwent several sessions of fat grafting to the left lympectomy defect and also a lift and augmentation with fat graft of her right breast. The photographs display the sequence of her reconstruction and the final result 6 months after the last procedure
