Procedure: Facial Resurfacing
The patient in the photograph was unhappy with the worsening appearance of her face. She also suffered from frequent skin cancers requiring surgical removal. Because of the cancer history and pigmentation changes of the facial skin, she was offered laser resurfacing with fractionated CO2 laser. The action of the laser allowed removal of superficial suspicious skin lesions causing regrowth of new skin. She also underwent reduction of her upper eyelid skin (blepharoplasty). New rejuvenating skin care regimen was also instituted. After the procedures, her face appeared much brighter with better tone and less wrinkles.
