Introduction

Liquid Rhinoplasty

The nose is one of the most defining features of the face. With this in mind, many people want to ensure that their nose matches their face’s proportions so they can feel confident in their facial appearance. If you are not satisfied with the size or shape of your nose and don’t want to undergo surgery to change these features, you may want to get a liquid rhinoplasty. At Advanced Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, our advanced liquid rhinoplasty treatment can help you achieve the nose you desire and the confidence you deserve.

What is a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

Liquid rhinoplasty, also known as a non-surgical nose job, is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that reshapes the nose using dermal fillers. This procedure differs from traditional rhinoplasty, which typically requires significantly more downtime. During a liquid rhinoplasty, various fillers are injected into targeted areas to improve parts of the patient’s nose that they are not satisfied with, such as smoothing bumps or indentations, correcting asymmetry, and improving the overall shape of the nose. This procedure is not permanent, but the results are immediate and require hardly any downtime.

What Are the Benefits of a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

When you get a liquid rhinoplasty at Advanced Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, you have the opportunity to benefit from this procedure in a variety of ways, including:

  • Instant results with little downtime, allowing you to go back to your lifestyle almost immediately
  • No need for surgery, as the procedure is minimally invasive
  • Opportunity to reverse results if you are unhappy with them
  • Smooth humps on the nose for a straighter profile
  • Lifted tip of a drooping or sagging nasal tip
  • Refined asymmetry, such as crookedness or irregularities
  • Added definition, such as an enhanced bridge and tip
  • Boosted confidence

Who Are the Best Candidates for a Liquid Rhinoplasty?

If you are in Grand Rapids and have some or all of the following characteristics, you could be a great candidate for a liquid Rhinoplasty at Advanced Plastic Surgery:

  • Desire subtle enhancement rather than structural changes, including building up a flat bridge or improving the projection of your nasal tip

What to Expect on the Day of a Liquid Rhinoplasty Treatment

On the day of your liquid rhinoplasty treatment in Grand Rapids, you can expect a relatively quick, easy procedure and immediate post-procedural results. After you check in for your appointment, you’ll be taken to a private room where a topical anesthetic will be applied to help you feel more comfortable. Fillers will be injected into specific areas to reshape and resize the nose, as discussed during your consultation. You may feel a slight, brief pinch, but the anesthetic will minimize most of the pain.

After your procedure is complete, an ice pack will be applied to reduce swelling, and the areas may be gently massaged to help the filler shape your nose. You can expect some mild swelling, redness, and bruising, which will all subside within a few days.

Liquid Rhinoplasty Recovery

Recovering from our liquid rhinoplasty in Grand Rapids is very fast and easy for our patients. You can return to most normal activities within 24 hours and typically experience only minor side effects, such as swelling, bruising, and redness, for a few days to a week. Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the nose, so you don’t move the filler around and cause asymmetry. Sleep on your back with your head elevated to minimize swelling. Don’t wear glasses for around 2-4 weeks. Avoid intense workouts, saunas, and hot yoga for a couple of days to minimize swelling and bruising. Follow all other specific instructions provided by our team after your appointment.
