This middle-aged lady was recently diagnosed with lipedema. Her main complaints were the areas around the knees and thighs. She elected to undergo liposuction of areas around and below bilateral knees and thighs. Post-operatively, she followed instructions diligently and wore the recommended compression. At the last follow up visit she stated : “I do not know where these legs came from but I will keep them.” The photographs depict her 6 week result. Notably, not only she is very pleased with her results but also the standing position of her feet has changed since the surgery and is now more anatomically correct.
